Question of geocenricity?

It isn't that scientists have decided Earth isn't at the center... it's that we've discovered there is no center. Where is the center of the surface of the Earth? Where is the center of the surface of an inflating balloon? If you stand on the surface of a giant inflating balloon, everything else on the surface would appear to be moving away from you as it inflates, as if you were at the center of that particular existence.
